“The moment that I stepped onto Saint Leo’s campus I knew that this is where I belong. Saint Leo is my perfect fit.” Amanda came to Saint Leo intending to major in Biology, but soon discovered that was not the path for her. “When I took my psychology class at Saint Leo, I knew that was my calling,” she recalls.

Amanda enjoys the personal interaction with faculty. “My professors have always been encouraging and helpful.” Most importantly, she feels that her experience has prepared her for life beyond the university. “I was painfully shy when I entered Saint Leo and now I am not. I was so terrified to do presentations, public speaking, and group activities. I realized that in the real world I would have to do one or all of these things every day, and because of Saint Leo I can do it.”

“I can honestly say that everything that I have learned, gained, and experienced here has been so important to me. Whether it’s my participation in clubs and organizations, my experiences in the classroom, or my interactions at work, I know that Saint Leo has shaped the person I am today.”
