“Good Values attract good people,” said John Semeraro a 2005 Saint Leo graduate. “By experiencing the Core Values [while attending SLU] I have been able to develop great personal and professional relationships.”
John graduated from SLU with his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and from there went on to pursue two master’s degrees in Business Administration and Sports Administration from Ohio University. He said that the skill set he gained during his time at Saint Leo, such as time management and how to balance priorities made him efficient and effective and are what enabled him to complete both of his master’s degrees in only two years.
John is currently in his second year working with the Peach Belt Conference as Assistant Commissioner for External Operations where he is responsible for planning and implementing the 13 championship sports and marketing for the conference, among other things.
“SLU taught me to continue believing in myself and not just follow a trail already laid out,” said John “but rather make each day my own masterpiece, take educated risks, seize opportunities and leave my own trail.”
